Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Dabiere Advisory Group LLC handles information when you visit our website or use Dabiere products, including Dabiere Ledger.

Effective August 30, 2026

1. Who we are

Dabiere Advisory Group LLC (“Dabiere,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) builds software for owners and small teams. This policy applies to dabiere.com and Dabiere services that link to it. If a product presents a separate privacy notice, that notice also applies.

2. Information we collect

Depending on the features you use, we may collect:

  • Account and contact information, such as your name, email address, business name, workspace membership, and login details.
  • Receipt and expense information, including receipt images, invoices, merchant names, dates, amounts, taxes, categories, notes, and related files.
  • Subscription information, such as plan status and transaction records. Payment providers process card details; we do not need to store your full card number.
  • Technical and usage information, such as device type, browser, IP address, timestamps, diagnostics, and interactions needed to secure and improve the service.
  • Communications, including support requests, feedback, and emails you send us or forward to a product address.

3. How we use information

We use information to:

  • provide, secure, maintain, and troubleshoot our products;
  • extract and organize receipt and expense details for your review;
  • manage accounts, workspaces, subscriptions, and customer support;
  • send service notices and respond to your requests;
  • understand product performance and improve features; and
  • comply with law, prevent fraud or abuse, and protect users and Dabiere.

4. AI-assisted receipt processing

Dabiere Ledger may use automated and AI-assisted tools to read receipts and suggest fields such as merchant, date, total, tax, category, and description. These suggestions can be incomplete or incorrect and are presented for your review. We may use service providers to perform this processing, and we require providers that receive personal information to protect it and use it only to provide services to us.

5. How we disclose information

We may disclose information:

  • to hosting, storage, security, analytics, AI-processing, customer-support, and payment service providers working for us;
  • to people you authorize, such as team members or your accountant;
  • when reasonably necessary to comply with law, legal process, or valid government requests;
  • to protect rights, safety, property, users, or the integrity of our services; or
  • as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate protections.

We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

6. Retention and deletion

We retain information while your account is active and as reasonably needed to provide the service, keep business and security records, resolve disputes, and meet legal or tax obligations. Retention periods vary with the type of information and why we hold it. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.

You may request account and associated data deletion by emailing chris@dabiere.com. We may retain limited information when required by law or for legitimate security, fraud-prevention, or recordkeeping purposes. The native app will also provide an in-app account deletion path before public App Store release.

7. Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information, including access controls and protections for data in transit and storage. No system can guarantee absolute security. Please protect your login credentials and contact us promptly if you believe your account or information has been compromised.

8. Your choices and rights

You may update certain account information in the service and may ask us to access, correct, export, or delete information. Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights. To make a request, email chris@dabiere.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

9. Children

Our services are intended for business users and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

10. Changes and contact

We may update this policy as our products or legal requirements change. We will post the updated version here and revise the effective date. For privacy questions, contact chris@dabiere.com.
